The History of Amerikkka: 28th President of the United States Woodrow Wilson

The following information was not written by me, and is taken directly from Wikipedia.

"While president of Princeton University, Wilson discouraged blacks from even applying for admission. Princeton would not admit its first black student until the 1940s.

Wilson allowed many of his cabinet officials to establish official segregation in federal government offices, for the first time since 1863. "His administration imposed full racial segregation in Washington and hounded from office considerable numbers of black federal employees." Wilson fired many black Republican office holders, but also appointed a few black Democrats. W.E.B. DuBois, a leader of the NAACP, campaigned for Wilson and in 1918 was offered an Army commission in charge of dealing with race relations. (DuBois accepted but failed his Army physical and did not serve.) When a delegation of blacks protested his discriminatory actions, Wilson told them that "segregation is not a humiliation but a benefit, and ought to be so regarded by you gentlemen". In 1914, he told New York Times that "If the colored people made a mistake in voting for me, they ought to correct it".

Wilson was understandably attacked by African-Americans for his actions, but ironically, he was also attacked by southern hard line racists, such as Georgian Thomas E. Watson, for not going far enough in restricting black employment in the federal government. The segregation introduced into the federal workforce by the Wilson administration was kept in placed by the succeeding Republican administrations and was not finally rescinded until the Truman Administration.

Woodrow Wilson's History of the American People explained the Ku Klux Klan of the late 1860s as the natural outgrowth of Reconstruction, a lawless reaction to a lawless period. Wilson noted that the Klan “began to attempt by intimidation what they were not allowed to attempt by the ballot or by any ordered course of public action.” In short, Wilson accepted the Southern version of Reconstruction with Southern whites being victimized.

Wilson's words were repeatedly quoted in the film The Birth of a Nation, which has come under fire for racism. Thomas Dixon, author of the novel The Clansman upon which the film is based, was one of Wilson's students at Johns Hopkins in the 1890s. Dixon arranged a special White House preview (this was the first time a film was shown in the White House) without telling Wilson what the film was about. Wilson most likely did not make the statement, "It is like writing history with lightning, my only regret is that it is all so terribly true." That was invented by a Hollywood press agent. In fact Wilson felt he had been tricked by Dixon and publicly said he did not like the film; Wilson blocked its showing during the war. In a 1923 letter to Senator Morris Sheppard of Texas Wilson noted of the reborn Klan, “...no more obnoxious or harmful organization has ever shown itself in our affairs.”

Trying To Get To You & Macaca, Trying To Get To You & Macaca...

RICHMOND, Va. -- A noted political scientist joined one of Sen. George Allen's former college football teammates in claiming the senator used a racial slur to refer to blacks in the early 1970s, a claim Allen dismisses as "ludicrously false."

Larry J. Sabato, one of Virginia's most-quoted political science professors and a classmate of Allen's in the early 1970s, said in a televised interview Monday that Allen used the epithet.

Sabato's assertion came on the heels of accusations by Dr. Ken Shelton, a radiologist who was a tight end and wide receiver for the University of Virginia in the early 1970s when Allen was quarterback. He said Allen not only used the n-word frequently but also once stuffed a severed deer head into a black family's mailbox.

Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, would not tell The Associated Press how he knew Allen used the n-word. He told Chris Matthews on MSNBC that he did not know whether it was true that Allen used the word frequently while in college.

"I'm simply going to stay with what I know is the case and the fact is he did use the n-word, whether he's denying it or not," Sabato said.

Allen, a Republican, has been mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2008. Questions about racial insensitivity have dogged him during his re-election bid against Democrat Jim Webb.

Allen's use of the word "macaca" in referring to a Webb campaign volunteer of Indian descent in August prompted an outcry. The word denotes a genus of monkeys and, in some cultures, is considered an ethnic slur. But the senator insisted he did not know that and had simply made up the word.

Allen vehemently denied that he used the n-word.

How Do Movies Like This Get Funding?

I don't understand the point of this movie? White cheerleaders and black cheerleader have different dancing styles, and? What the point of making a whole movie about the subject? This does nothing but broaden the gap between the races. But, Hollywood is in business to keep that way. Hooray for Hollywood!

Forever Slave

It seem like when these talented black musicians become successful, the first they want to do is jump into "the great white world of acting". And when they make this huge jump, they always have to play some stereotypical role(athlete, comedian or performer & street thugs), taking the positions of legitimate black actors who cut their teeth in Hollywood to play a maid or the sassy black women or the nigga. Blacks don't get into Hollywood unless they embody some kind of stereotype that whites want to exploit(and black actors give in everytime, except a few...i.e. Larry fishburne, Morgan freedman, Regina king). I wish black people in amerikkka would wake up to this...

Its happening in Both the Television(girlfriends), Cinema(training day, traffic & monster's ball) and the music industry(i.e. rap music where the top artists represent stereotypes to that white fans who mostly buy the music). I'm a black male who doesn't give a shit about a gun, being tough or how much money I got or fucking hoes.

ITS NOT REAL, NOT ALL BLACK PEOPLE ACT THE SAME! AND I'M GOING BE A SELLOUT OR A BLACK POSTER CHILD FOR "THE STRUGGLE" OF GROWING UP POOR LIKE RICE IN ORDER TO BE SEEN AS DIFFERENT. EVERY "HUMAN BEING" HAVE A RIGHT TO LIVE HIS OR HER LIFE ANYWAY HE PLEASES, UNBOUND TO STEREOTYPES AND PREJUDICES!

Go To Jail (black people) & You Will Be Rewarded!!

July 4, 2006 - 9:50AM

Rapper Lil' Kim left prison after serving nearly 10 months for perjury and, in typical fashion, she did so in style.

Wearing a low-cut white top and flashy sunglasses, the diminutive star clutched a bouquet of flowers as she greeted fans before stepping into a shiny Rolls Royce.

She has been in jail since September after being convicted of perjury in testimony to a federal grand jury about a shooting outside a New York radio station. She was released more than two months early for good behaviour.

"Today is a joyous day for me and my family. I am extremely grateful and happy to be home," Kim said in a statement.

"Many special thanks go out to my fans, who were critical in helping me get through these past 10 months. I am looking forward to adjusting back to my normal life and getting back to work," she added. Upon arriving home Kim was showered with gifts from some of the world's most popular designers...I guess crime does pay!

Lil' Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, won a Grammy award in 2001 and has produced albums such as La Bella Mafia and Notorious K.I.M.

During the February 2001 incident that led to her conviction, gunfire broke out after Lil' Kim's entourage encountered rap act Capone-N-Noreaga outside the radio station.

Kim testified she did not notice two of her close friends, Suif Jackson and Damion Butler, at the scene, but was discredited after the men later pleaded guilty to gun charges.

The 12 months-and-a-day sentence was lenient compared to the 33 months prosecutors sought in the high-profile case, which shed light on complex rivalries in the hip-hop world. Lil' Kim is reported to have an ongoing beef with rap rival Foxy Brown.

Kim will transition into a 30-day house arrest after her release from the Federal Detention Centre in Philadelphia.

Her publicist said Kim would spend some time with family and friends before going back to work.

"Kim had a lot of time to be able to think and she has definitely been the type of person to turn a negative situation into a positive one," said Tracy Nguyen.

Roth Gets The Boot!

Roth's magnetic radio personality was not enough to attract Sterns listeners. I have listened to the show, off and on. It sounded like a washed up rocker who was forced to get early to talk about his music-oriented experiences (which sucked). I stopped listening to him after a monday morning (4/17/06) comment..."when is the last time you seen a black guy with a guitar"...that pissed my off considering I'm a black guy who plays guitar. When we know, because of the history of rock, that if there were no black guys with guitar, he would not have had a career. Alan Freed is championed the gatekeeper of rock, and is put on the same level as the people who actually created the music. I'm sick of society in amerikkka pretending like black people have no rights to use or even hold a guitar. "Elvis made rock 'n' roll sexy, scary and safe at the same time, and he helped white people to identify with a predominantly black genre". The banjo is an african instrument brought over during slavery. Image what bluegrass or country would be without the banjo. I'm kinda of straying from the topic, but I felt that it needed to be said.

p.s., his show is being taken over by opie and anthony a.k.a "Stupid White Males with Mics"

Amerikkka has a serious problem with race and shows like the ones mentioned above only fuel the fire!
